Refund Policy: All registration fees are non-refundable. This race, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, a pandemic, or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided.
Options should you not be able to participate in the event:
We do understand that sometimes you just can’t make the race. If the race is scheduled, and you are unable to attend, we have created a great policy that offers you different options for your registration. (You may choose only one of the options below)
Defer Your Entry: You may defer your entry to the 2022 event. Deferrals must be processed by the registration team and an administration fee of 50% of the 2022 registration fee will be charged. The deferral will expire after the 2022 event and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Deferrals must be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org prior to October 9th, 2021.
Transfers: You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. However, bib transfers are allowed for an administration charge of $25 and must be processed through your ACTIVE MyEvents account no later than October 21, 2021. If you transfer your bib, you will receive a refund (minus the $25 administration charge) once the new participant signs up. The new runner will need to pay the full entry fee at the time of the transfer. Log into your MyEvents.ACTIVE.com account and select “Transfer registration” to begin the process.
Virtual Run: If you cannot attend the race in person you may run the half marathon or relay “virtually” and still receive the same perks. To run virtually you must change your registration category to the Virtual Run option for your race distance. You can email email@example.com with a request to change your race to the virtual event.
Race Insurance: By clicking selection this option at the end of your registration form, you are adding an additional ACTIVE Refund fee to your total cart amount, and you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions for ACTIVE Refund. Refund requests must be submitted 48 hours prior to your activity date, and activities that are cancelled, postponed, or changed from a live activity to a "virtual" or online format are not eligible for a refund. The fee to purchase ACTIVE Refund is generally non-refundable, and can not be added at a later date.
