If you are eligible to pick up your Beach Cities Challenge medal at the Surf City Marathon, you can visit the "Challenge Medals" table in the main Expo tent after the race. Challenge medals will be distributed in the same area that you picked up your race bib.
For 2023 - to receive your Beach Cities Challenge medal at the 2023 Surf City Marathon, you must have completed the 2022 OC Marathon or Half Marathon (in-person or virtual) and the 2022 Long Beach Marathon or Half Marathon (in-person or virtual).
In late Fall, we will post a Beach Cities Challenge roster where participants can verify their medal pick-up at the Surf City Marathon. Check the Beach Cities Challenge page of website to confirm that you're picking up your medal at the race.
