Entry fees are non-refundable.
We appreciate you, as our customer, and understand that sometimes you just can’t make the race. We have created a great policy that offers you several different options in the event you cannot attend on race day (you may choose only one of the options below).
Registrations Made Prior to April 15th: While we are very excited about moving the race to December, we understand that a December race and a July race are very different and you may already have plans for December. If that’s the case, we are offering a 100% deferral to the 2021 race, which is scheduled for July 17 - 18, 2021. Click Here and select to defer to 2021. We will be sending you an invitation to register once 2021 registration opens.
Registrations Starting May 5th: You may defer your entry to the 2021 event. Deferrals must be processed by the registration team and an administration fee of 50% of the cost of the following year's registration cost will be charged in the event you defer. The deferral will expire after the 2021 event and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Deferral requests must be submitted by email request to email@example.com no later than November 29th, 2020.
Transfers: You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. However, bib transfers are allowed for an administration charge of $25 and must be processed through the ACTIVE Network registration portal no later than December 10, 2020. If you transfer you bib, you will receive a refund (minus the $25 administration charge) once the new participant signs up. The new runner will pay the full cost of the entry fee.
Insurance: When registering, you had the opportunity to purchase insurance either through Booking Protect, or ACTIVE Refund, depending on the date:

Registration starting 2/21/20: Insurance through ACTIVE Refund. When purchased, ACTIVE Refund makes the underlying registration refundable. Refund requests must be submitted no later than midnight 48 hours prior to the original activity start date, July 18th, 2020. You can file your claim here: https://refund.active.com/signin.htm
*PLEASE NOTE: On 3/23/20 due to this uncertainty of COVID-19, ACTIVE Network had to temporarily suspended new sales of the ACTIVE Refund product. Of course, ACTIVE will continue to fulfill its obligations with regard to ACTIVE Refund product sales that have already occurred, in accordance with the product terms and conditions.
