The Beach Cities Challenge is a race series that includes 3 Southern California Marathons or Half Marathons – The Surf City Marathon, OC Marathon, and Long Beach Marathon. Runners who complete any combination of half or full marathons in all 3 events consecutively will receive a special Beach Cities Medal. There is no additional challenge-registration required to enter the Beach Cities Challenge.
For 2023 - participants will be eligible to receive a Beach Cities Challenge medal during the 2023 Long Beach Marathon if they participated in the 2023 Surf City Marathon or Half-Marathon (in-person or virtual) and 2023 OC Marathon or Half-Marathon (in-person or virtual).
