Entry fees are non-refundable.
We appreciate you, as our customer, and understand that sometimes you just can’t make the race. We have created a great policy that offers you different options, in the event you cannot attend on race day. (You may choose only one of the options below)
- Defer Your Entry: You may defer your entry to the 2020 event. Deferrals must be processed by the registration team and an administration fee of 50% of the 2020 registration fee will be charged. The deferral will expire after the 2020 event and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Deferrals must be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org prior to October 20, 2019.
- Transfers: You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. However, bib transfers are allowed for an administration charge of $25 and must be processed through your ACTIVE MyEvents account no later than October 31, 2019. If you transfer your bib, you will receive a refund (minus the $25 administration charge) once the new participant signs up. The new runner will need to pay the full entry fee at the time of the transfer. Log into your ACTIVE.com account and select “Transfer registration” to begin the process.
Insurance: When registering, you may have had the opportunity to purchase insurance either through Booking Protect, or ACTIVE Refund, depending on the date:
Registration before 2/20/20: Insurance through Booking Protect. If you purchased this insurance, you can get in touch with the company to file a claim, by reaching out to them here: https://bookingprotect.com/process/refunds-process/
Registration starting 2/21/20: Insurance through ACTIVE Refund. When purchased, ACTIVE Refund makes the underlying registration refundable. Refund requests must be submitted no later than midnight 48 hours prior to the activity start date. You can file your claim here: https://refund.active.com/signin.htm
*PLEASE NOTE: On 3/23/20 due to this uncertainty of COVID-19, ACTIVE Network had to temporarily suspended new sales of the ACTIVE Refund product. Of course, ACTIVE will continue to fulfill its obligations with regard to ACTIVE Refund product sales that have already occurred, in accordance with the product terms and conditions. At this time, there is no registration insurance available.
